Terms at Opens App
Each app has its own terms of service. This page covers the website, and points you at the rest.
Each app
- Opens Audio Player
A free player for the music, audiobooks and podcasts already on your phone — or downloaded from your own Google Drive. No ads, no subscription, no account.
- Ivy Todos
A to-do app that runs the Ivy Lee Method: at the end of each day you rank tomorrow’s six tasks, then work them strictly in order. Local-only, with no account and no sync.
Submitting to Build with us
Sending the form on Build with us creates no agreement between us. We are not obliged to reply, to build anything, or to work with you, and nothing is licensed or agreed unless and until we both sign up to something specific.
What you send stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your idea, and you keep every right you had in it before you told us. In return, you confirm you have the right to share what you send — that it is not someone else's confidential information.
We may independently already be working on, or later work on, something similar to what you describe, including software that competes with it, and a submission does not restrict that. We build our own products and receive other submissions, so a good idea often arrives more than once.
Where a collaboration does go ahead, the software it produces is published under the Apache-2.0 licence, as stated on that page. The terms of the collaboration itself are settled between us at the time.
Proposing a closed-testing swap
Proposing a closed-testing swap creates no agreement either. Neither side is obliged to install, test, review, or reply, and either may stop at any point. Whatever Google requires of a tester is between you and Google.
