Terms of Service
These terms apply to the Opens Audio Player mobile app, operated by Opens App. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The website that hosts this page has its own terms at opensapp.net/terms.
1. Your licence to use the app
Opens Audio Player is provided free of charge. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use it on devices you control, for your own use. You may not sell, rent, or redistribute the app itself, and you may not remove or alter any notices it contains.
We may release updates, change how features work, or discontinue the app entirely. Nothing here obliges us to keep it available.
2. Your files stay yours
Opens Audio Player plays audio that already belongs to you. Your files and your content remain entirely yours. We claim no ownership, no licence, and no rights of any kind over them, and — as set out in the Privacy Policy — they are not transmitted to us.
You are responsible for having the right to possess and play the files you use with the app. Do not use Opens Audio Player to copy or distribute material you have no right to.
3. Google Drive
If you choose to connect Google Drive, your use of Drive remains governed by your agreement with Google. We are not responsible for Google’s service: its availability, its pricing, changes to its API, or anything that happens to files stored there. Connecting Drive is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
4. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the app or this website, and do not use either to infringe anyone’s rights or to break the law. We may block access to the website if it is being abused.
5. No warranty
The app and the website are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that it will play every file format you throw at it. You use it at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you care about.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Opens App will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, loss of files, or loss of profits, arising out of your use of the app or the website — even if we have been advised that such loss might occur.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app, which is zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address, and the date at the bottom of the page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may withdraw your licence to use the app if you breach these terms.
9. Your local law
Opens Audio Player is free and available worldwide, so these terms do not impose a choice of law or nominate a particular court. Your use of the app is governed by the law where you live, and nothing here limits the consumer rights that law gives you.
