Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Ivy Todos mobile app, operated by Opens App. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The website that hosts this page has its own terms at opensapp.net/terms.

1. Your licence to use the app

Ivy Todos is free to install and use. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control. You may not resell it, or redistribute a modified copy of it.

2. Your tasks are yours

Everything you write in the app — tasks, days, history — stays on your device and belongs to you. We claim no rights over it, and we cannot read it, because it is never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it, so keep your own copy of anything you would miss.

3. Feedback you send us

If you use the feedback form, you are choosing to send us the message you typed. Do not put anything confidential in it. We may act on feedback — fixing, changing, or building what it suggests — without owing you anything for it.

4. Advertising

The app shows a single advertisement after you close a day. It is served by a third party, which means a request leaves your device when the ad loads. What that involves, and what the ad provider can see, is set out in the privacy policy. We do not send your tasks, your history, or anything you have typed to the ad provider, because we do not send them anywhere.

5. Notifications

The app can send you a weekly reminder if you allow it to. You can turn that off in the app, or revoke the permission in your device settings, at any time.

6. What we do not promise

The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be free of defects, that it will suit your particular way of working, or that it will remain available. A to-do app is not a backup service: keep your own record of anything that matters.

7. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law where you live allows it, Opens App is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for work missed as a result of using or being unable to use the app.

8. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may stop distributing or supporting the app, in which case the copy already installed on your device keeps working until you remove it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the foot of this page changes when we do, and material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
